Yahoo! Mail doesn't like Opera!!!

Pretty strange, that Yahoo! Mail does not run on Opera (it's an Internet Browser). With my work now currently focused on building a testing framework using Selenium RC, which will test Web Apps across different internet browsers.. got me to start liking Opera. I think its the a very good browser in terms of speed, interface, usability and very low# of crashes (compared to IE, Firefox). And was pretty amazed when I realized Google Chrome had taken design ideas from Opera, nevertheless Opera rocks!, considering am not a big fan of Google Chrome - it's too bland and pale to use it! :P.

I did do some random googling around on why Y! Mail is not supported on Opera - hmm, and seems that Y! Mail got themselves out on Safari for Mac, Windows as late as February 2008!! wow! and since Google's Chrome was built on the Webkit opensource program - similar to Safari, Y! Mail works fine on Chrome too!! lucky Chrome users! :), seems like Opera will have it's turn too. But I am surprised!! I took a snapshot of it to let you know what i'm talking about..

Well!! i've been thinking to blog loads of incidents that happened with me lately - thought it would be useful for others in the same situation, so here am I, starting to write my blog again ;) [how mean of me :)]

"spams" on Yahoo Msger

i was on to my usual browsing of the net with my Yahoo! Msgr signed on, and suddenly there was whole outburst of msgs populating into me.. not sure what it really was, it didn't seem like a virus. It was from a Yahoo id- which is a hoax for sure - "yah00chat_booter29". Looks like msger spamming, but these msgs are all "blank".. no content. You wouldn't believe it got like more than 100 msgs in just a sec. I was blown.. See the picture below, to know what i'm talking abt.. (yea, that's my desktop :))..


And as it shows i had to terminate the process to exit out of the whole mess..

I've been delaying on writing my first blog post... for many reasons, one of which is i really didn't know how to start :>. But here it is, i start off my blog, and am really excited on posting the latest happenings and the cool things i do.

Before starting up with this blog, i was quite skeptical whether to start one after all, wondering if there was a need for one. But i've made up my mind and am pretty strong at it, that writing blogs does open up minds more, and calls for more ideas and views.
